The Shadow Systems MR920 Combat is a compact 9mm pistol built around a lightweight polymer frame and a Combat optic-ready slide. Its four-inch spiral-fluted unthreaded barrel balances practical carry dimensions with controllable handling, while factory night sights support target acquisition in reduced-light conditions. The striker-fired semi-automatic action uses a trigger safety and feeds from a 15+1-round capacity. Bronze and Black finishes provide the distinctive factory appearance, and the optics-ready slide allows the addition of a compatible red dot sight.

Much better than a...
Much better than a standard Glock 19. It has better slide serrations, an optics cut compatible with a wide variety of optics without needing a mounting plate, night sights that co witness with the optic, better ergonomics (I prefer the small grip insert..gives it a 1911 style grip angle..the med gives it a M&P angle, the large a standard Glock one), TIN coated match barrel and improved aluminum trigger. All these upgrades to a stock Glock 19 would make it even more expensive than this pistol- so if you plan to buy a Glock 19 and add a bunch of upgrades, this pistol is worth considering. \r \r I Have only shot 100 rounds so far, but no failures/malfunctions yet. Shadow Systems advertise it as being "the flattest shooting pistol ever" I cant really tell if it shoots any flatter than a standard Glock, but it is more comfortable to hold, and I do shoot better with it overall. About 3 oz lighter than a stock Glock 19 as well.
