Our Chief of Security here at the Firearm CCW school requested this pistol for concealed/open carry as he considered this weapon the best that Sig Sauer has to offer and it was in .357sig,his favorite caliber. Not only does this 1911 style offer flat shooting out to 100 yards, it comes with a thumb and grip safety thus allowing for a chambered round.
