The SIG Sauer P226 is a full-size semi-automatic pistol chambered in .357 Sig. This model features a blue and black finish, a hard-anodized aluminum frame, composite grips, and fixed 3-dot sights. Its double-action/single-action operating system includes a decocking lever, automatic firing pin safety, safety intercept notch, and trigger bar disconnector. The 4.4-inch barrel and 7.7-inch overall length provide the familiar service-pistol proportions of the P226 platform.

We own one of these,...
We own one of these, it is a tack driver and it always works. There is a considerable flash but it feels not much more than a 9mm. I believe if this would have been available when the 40 S&W came into the limelight alll the law enforcement would be carrying .357 Sig. Just ask the secret service, TX rangers, and air marshalls.
