Its Gray Legion PVD finish, contoured aluminum frame, aggressive front strap checkering, front cocking serrations, and custom G10 grips provide a secure, durable configuration for duty, training, and personal defense. The 4.4-inch barrel supports a balanced full-size profile, while the DA/SA action combines a smooth double-action first shot with a crisp single-action reset. Factory X-RAY day/night sights support rapid target acquisition in changing light, and the optics-cut slide comes equipped with a SIG Sauer ROMEO1 reflex sight for an additional aiming option. A low-profile decocking lever and slide catch maintain the P226's familiar controls.
