Product Overview
The SIG Sauer P226 X-Five Classic is a Custom Works 9mm target pistol built on the proven P226 platform. Its stainless steel frame and 5-inch bull barrel provide a stable shooting platform, while the single-action-only operating system delivers a crisp, performance-focused trigger press. The trigger can be adjusted for pull weight, over-travel, and trigger shoe length of pull, allowing shooters to tailor the pistol to their preferences. An adjustable Dawson-style rear sight plate pairs with the front sight for precise aiming and can be removed to direct-mount a ROMEO1PRO, ROMEO2, or another optic using the standard PRO footprint. Three 20-round steel magazines with alloy base pads are included.

I got the P226 because...
I got the P226 because of all my 9's, I shot the P320 the best, and after reviewing the other high end 9's, I decided to use Bud's try it and return for $15 in case it didn't perform to my expectations. I have shot about 400 rounds through it in the last 3 weeks, and the results are above my expectations. It is so much better than any striker fired 9 I have ever used. The trigger is smooth, crisp and light, the weight of the gun gets you back on target quickly. It is a beautiful gun, you can feel the quality just holding it. It is everything I wanted in my dream 9 semi. The Holosun SCS mounted right up also.

It's been 3 weeks...
It's been 3 weeks since I purchased the P226 X5, this is a incredible weapon. Fit and finish is amazing. The trigger on this particular weapon is butter smooth and unmatched in anything else I have shot. The way it fits into my hand is extremely comfortable and the accuracy is amazing. Took the X5 to the range along with my P229 Legion, which I shot first, the difference in the groupings between the two was nothing short of amazing. The X5 reduced the spread on my target by a huge margin. Was this a expensive purchase, yes it was, but worth every penny!!

I am very pleased with...
I am very pleased with the Sig P226 X-Five. Fit and finish is very nice. I guess we should expect this from a high dollar pistol. It is a fantastic shooter out of the box. I really like the green fiber front sight. That is something I will look for in the future and may be changing out some of my other front sites. One issue you may have is the grip size. I have large hands and I love the way it fits but if you have smaller hands, it may not feel comfortable. I highly recommend this pistol. Was a little concerned about the price but I am overly happy with the purchase. I have purchased rifles, shotguns and pistols from Buds. Always simple and with no issues. Thanks Buds.
