I've had this 229 from...
I've had this 229 from Bud's about 10 months now. It has about 600 rounds through it without a malfunction. I will admit to most of those being the cheapest 9mm I can find. Only about one box of Speer Gold Dot 125's cycled through, also with out a hitch. The Sig Anti-Snag (SAS) slides nice and easy in and out of my flexible nylon Bianchi holster. The short reset trigger (SRT) makes those double tap shots on the action pistol range just a bit faster. The short reach trigger makes the trigger no problem to reach. My small hands do have problems when it comes for my thumb to reach the mag release quickly. I'm now thinking of upgrading to the new E2 grip style to gain that little bit. I've shot the 229 in 357sig and found by the time a quickly employeed mag was empty the gun snap had caused it to shift slightly in my hand. Glad I decided to go with quailty bullets in 9mm for the defensive pistol instead of the hotter options. Top Quailty Unit!
