Been wanting to get a...
Been wanting to get a handgun with a red dot for a while and when I saw the price drop on this M&P compact I jumped on it. Been to the range once and shot about 150 rounds of mixed brass and steel cased ammo. Like every other S&W I own (M&P 40 fullsize and compact and a Shield 9mm) it worked flawlessly. No breaking in period, no jams, no issues whatsoever. Loved the red dot. Easy to mount, adjust and I enjoyed using it. Don't have anything to compare the red dot to, but for a beginner, no complaints. Looking forward to getting a light and holster and setting it up for carry.

Shipping was quick,...
Shipping was quick, firearm looked great… but I'm still going back and forth with S&W and crimson trace about a replacement mounting plate for the optic. I'm offering to just purchase a new one, I just want one that works right (the one that came with it was warped so when I tighten the screws it props the front of the red dot up). \\r\ I've only put a couple hundred rounds through it but so far it's working great.
