The Smith & Wesson 9mm...
The Smith & Wesson 9mm Shield Compact is a pure pleasure to shoot - plain and simple. At the range, the pistol performed flawlessly. Sending three boxes of ammo downrange (150 rounds) it performed beautifully with 115 grain FMJ Blazer Brass, as well as 20 rounds of 147 grain hollow points - no problems. The action seemed somewhat stiff to me at first, but after a hundred rounds it smoothed out and does great. It may be smaller that it's full-sized M&P sister, but Smith & Wesson did not sacrifice performance to make it smaller. This is a super pistol for concealed carry, and feels great in the hand. The sights are simple, 3-dot white sights, but are quality sights, easy for the eye to acquire. This one is surely a keeper! And to make matters even more positive, Bud's Gun Shop has taken the hassle and frustration out of buying a firearm and turned it into a pleasing experience. Thank you, Bud's!
