This was my first...
This was my first firearm I purchased after handling several at a local range. To date, I have run around 500 rounds through this and overall I am satisfied with my purchase. The ergonomics of the grip is very well done and with additional backstrap options provided, it will cover a range of palm sizes. I did not like the default material as it is very abrasive with the recoil and it can be a bit unforgiving. I had replaced this material with a more rubberized grip, which made me love this even more. It is very accurate and I had no troubles zeroing out the sights as they were a bit off from the factory. Once set, you will easily get some tight grouping at the range at 15 yards out. This model unfortunately is not optics ready due to the loaded chamber indicator, but you can swap out the slide assembly if you ever need to go down the optics route. Overall it has been, hands down, a reliable firearm for me. You can feel the durability while handling it, and i have experienced zero malfunctions so far. Everything from loading to cleaning has been easy and I would recommend this firearm to anyone looking for a full-size 9mm.

I've had the M&P 2.0...
I've had the M&P 2.0 Full Size (9mm) for a few weeks now and put about 400 rounds through it. Overall, I'm super impressed with how this thing performs. The grip texture is aggressive—in a good way. It really locks into your hand, which makes follow-up shots feel controlled and consistent. If you're sensitive to texture, it might feel a bit much at first, but for me it's perfect. The different backstraps are a nice bonus; I found the medium one gave me the best fit. Trigger is a noticeable step up from the original M&P. It has a clean break, a decent reset, and feels predictable. Not a match trigger by any means, but it's more than good enough for range use or home defense. Accuracy is solid. I was shooting tight groups at 15–20 yards without much effort. The longer barrel and sight radius help a lot, especially compared to compact models I've used. Also, zero malfunctions so far—even with cheap steel case and reloads. Slide serrations are grippy, and the overall build feels rugged. It's not flashy, but it's 100% function-focused, which I respect. Only thing I wish was better out of the box is the sights. They're okay, but I'll probably swap them for night sights down the line. If you're looking for a full-size, reliable, no-nonsense handgun, the M&P 2.0 is a great choice. Definitely feels like it could handle anything you throw at it. 5/5 — Would absolutely buy again.
