Description
Product Overview
The Springfield Armory 1911 Combat Operator is a full-size single-action pistol chambered in 9mm. Its steel frame and five-inch barrel provide the familiar balance and handling of a Government-size 1911, while the black slide and gray frame create its distinctive two-tone appearance. Black and gray G10 grips offer a secure, durable interface, and the fiber optic front sight paired with a U-notch rear sight provides a clear sight picture for practical range use. A single-sided thumb safety works with the traditional 1911 grip safety, and the pistol includes two 10-round magazines.

The Lispey's Edition...
The Lispey's Edition Combat Operator is a home run. Fit and finish is nice and tight with the pistol setup almost perfectly. Only thing that really needs to be changed is an undercut trigger guard and a 1pc magwell. I have had no hiccups within the 500 rounds I have shot so far. The 10-8 rear and Dawson front is a really good set up. Slide to frame is nice and tight, barrel lock up is good, the tool steel fire control group is good, though the trigger is heavy, probably around 5-6lbs (I prefer 3.5-4.5 on my 1911's).
