Fantastic CCW in 3"...
Fantastic CCW in 3" barrel configuration based on Springfield 1911 platform in 9mm. All the function of a 1911, accuracy of 3" stainless bull barrel, soft shooter, and very accurate on initial and follow up shots. Great weapon from Springfield!

I have the EMP 9MM,...
I have the EMP 9MM, EMP 40 S&W, EMP-4 9MM, the EMP-4 40 S&W and the Range Officer 45 ACP. They all are very fine guns and Springfield Customer service is the greatest. I own Colt, Springfied, Kimber Iver Johnson and Sig 1911s, and for the money and Customer Service, I think Springfield is the best deal. My EMP 9MM, is my EDC, it is lighter than the others. The EMP-4's are a little more accurate due the the added inch of the barrel. The 40 S&W both EMP and EMP-4 are heavier but very good shooters. I highly recommend Springfield 1911s
