The Springfield Armory 1911 TRP Operator is a full-size .45 ACP pistol built around a select-fit forged frame and slide for dependable service performance. Its 5-inch match-grade stainless steel barrel supports consistent accuracy, while the rugged Blue/Black finish provides durable environmental resistance. The pistol combines an extended Gen 2 Speed Trigger, an ambidextrous extended thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety for controlled handling. Three-dot tritium night sights provide a visible aiming reference in low-light conditions, and the integral accessory rail supports compatible lights and lasers.

Amazing 1911. I have...
Amazing 1911. I have over 500 rounds through it (which isn't a lot) and have yet to have a FTF. I put a solid rear sight and reverse plug and GI guide rod from 10-8 performance. Makes taking it apart toolless and it runs great. Buy it. Don't hesitate.
