The Springfield Armory Champion Operator PX9115L is a compact 1911-style semi-automatic pistol built for defensive carry and practical service use. Its forged aluminum alloy frame keeps weight to 31 ounces, while the 4-inch stainless steel match-grade bull barrel provides a fully supported ramp and a durable shooting platform. The slide features a Black Armory Kote finish, complemented by the explicitly specified Blue/Black overall finish designation and a black hardcoat anodized frame. A beavertail grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safeties, extended trigger, flat mainspring housing, and Lightweight Delta hammer provide familiar 1911 ergonomics. Three-dot tritium combat sights support low-light aiming, and the integral accessory rail accepts compatible lights and lasers. Cocobolo grips complete the classic carry-oriented configuration.
