The Springfield is a very nice gun put a 150 rounds of metal, aluminum, brass and went through them nicely very accurate gun.Will be looking at more Springfield in the near future.

This gun is better...
This gun is better than i had hoped. From the factory it has a very nice trigger(crisp and 4.75 lbs.). Springfield armory 1911s are very underrated. I would take this gun over a Kimber any day. I really like Springfield armory's grip safety; it is much more comfortable than an Ed Brown style. The first time out to the range it ran 100%(250 rounds) with cheap range ammo and was extremely accurate. I did put different grips on it though(the grip screw bushings were a bear to get out. My hands are too big for the thin grips that came on it.
