The Springfield Armory XD 3-Inch Sub-Compact is a 9mm concealed-carry pistol that combines a compact profile with practical magazine capacity. Its forged stainless steel slide rides on a black polymer frame, while the short 3-inch barrel supports easy carry without giving up the ergonomics of the XD platform. A flush-fitting magazine provides 13+1 capacity, and compatible X-Tension magazines increase capacity to 16+1. The pistol includes steel 3-dot sights, a grip safety, trigger safety, loaded chamber indicator, striker status indicator, and internal firing pin block.

First online gun purchase and Buds Gun Shop experience. I must say that I am very pleased, Buds has the best prices around and the overall buying process is smooth from website to FFL. This is an excellent firearm, you can never go wrong with a Springfield. Excellent for concealed carry, plus you get the extended mag option (increased capacity and better grip) for the colder months when concealability is less of an issue. I also picked up the Pearce Grip Extension and Don Hume IWB holster and I couldn�t be more happy. The XD subcompact is truly a jack of all trades, don't pass on this gun. 250 rounds through it already with zero issues, spot on accuracy and light recoil. I will be an XD fan for life, thanks Buds!

I received my XD 9...
I received my XD 9 yesterday and registered it today and on the way home couldn't resist going to the range. I shot 150 rounds through it. It was just what I was expecting it to be-awesome! I bought the XD 40 last month and enjoyed shooting it some much I had to have 9mm version. I enjoy both XD's and would recommend either one for a great cancel-carry pistol. For the price you can't go wrong. The 9mm is my 4th purchase at Budsgunshop.com and won't be my last.

So Glad bought my 9mm...
So Glad bought my 9mm XD stainless CMP package from Buds , gun is perfect had to put a Pearce extensions on the 13 rnd mags I have huge hands and with CD 135 grn +ps it needed it for my pinky to control the pistol but after one mag I was shooting SoftBall groups at 15yrds all day with 115 UMC rem ammo , I put 200 through her today and made my friends Glocks look SAD they all wanted my XD even our Deputy Chief of polices mod 23 in 40s&w was out shot !!! Great gun for my CCP needs and with great Buds price I bought 200 UMCs 115s a extra 13 rnd mag a box of Critical Duty Hornady 135+ps and 2 Pearce pinky extensions I still have just 550 in it all u can't buy that gun in my area for that price , thanks Buds 5 stars , XDs a tack driver!!!
