The Springfield Armory XD-E is a slim, single-stack 9mm semi-automatic pistol designed for concealed carry and everyday defensive use. Its exposed hammer and single-action/double-action trigger system provide flexible operation, while the ambidextrous thumb safety with integrated decocker supports safe handling from either side. The 3.8-inch barrel and 7.16-inch overall length offer a practical balance of concealability and shootability. A red fiber optic front sight pairs with a low-profile combat rear sight for fast target acquisition. The black polymer grip frame features GripZone texture, a high-hand beavertail, an accessory rail, and slim contoured controls. The pistol includes one flush-fit magazine and one extended magazine.

Love this model from SA. I like that it has a manual safety and a de-cocker. It feels good in the hand and cycles flawlessly. It is my backup sidearm due to the single stack magazine. very slim profile doesn't feel bulky on the hip. easy to manipulate in the hand.
