Description
Product Overview
The Springfield Armory XD-E is a compact 9mm pistol designed for concealed carry and personal defense. Its hammer-fired double-action or single-action system provides a deliberate double-action option with a lighter single-action trigger after the first shot. The 3.3-inch hammer-forged steel barrel and forged steel slide receive a durable Melonite treatment, while the black polymer frame keeps the pistol manageable for everyday carry. A fiber-optic front sight and low-profile steel combat rear sight support fast target acquisition, and the integrated Viridian red laser offers an additional aiming option. The pistol includes an 8-round magazine with grip extension and a 9-round magazine with magazine extension.

I bought this pistol...
I bought this pistol for it's features and price and it did not disappoint. My only complaint would be it's loaded weight as a carry weapon, but that's primarily because my previous carry weapon was much lighter and held less rounds. I really like it and continue to carry it.

Received the SA XDE...
Received the SA XDE 9mm handgun a week ago. I have fired 200 rounds through it without any problems. I installed the Veridian laser, and did not have to make any sight adjustments. The gun is accurate and handles nicely, even though I have large hands. The trigger is crisp and breaks at 5.5 lbs. SA using my Lyman Digital trigger gauge. The XDE feels slightly larger than my S& W M&P Shield even though they are similar in size. If you like a DA/SA, this is a great gun and a great value. I would buy it again, and I can easily recommend it.
