Its 5.25-inch hammer-forged Melonite barrel and extended slide support precise shooting, while the slide lightening cut helps reduce reciprocating mass for quicker cycling. A red fiber optic front sight pairs with a fully adjustable target rear sight for rapid acquisition and precise zeroing. The pistol also features a minimal-reset trigger, ergonomic black polymer frame, Mega-Lock grip texture, and the XD-M platform’s integrated trigger and grip safeties.

This is the second...
This is the second Springfield XD pistol I purchased and both times I am very impressed with the quality and performance. The XDm 5.25 is easy to shoot accurate with the grip angle and feel, adjustable sights, and good balance. It is easy to disassemble and clean, and has good fit and finish. They hold up well and stay great looking. Springfield XD products are packaged well with a really nice case that is sturdy and has good foam that holds everything in place. The holster, magazine holder, three magazines, and all the other accessories are nice and make it a good value.
