The Springfield Armory XD-S Mod.2 is a compact 9mm semi-automatic pistol designed for concealed carry. Its 3.3-inch hammer-forged steel barrel and forged steel Melonite-finished slide provide a durable, corrosion-resistant configuration, while the enhanced-texture black polymer frame supports a secure grip. The pistol includes Pro-Glo tritium and luminescent front sights with a tactical rack serrated rear sight for practical target acquisition in changing light. A dual captive recoil spring and full-length guide rod help manage recoil, and the factory package includes both a 7-round magazine with pinkie extension and a 9-round extended magazine.

In the midst of this...
In the midst of this current global pandemic, I made this purchase of a Springfield Armory XD-S MOD2 9mm (sub-compact). Fantastic conceal carry weapon. Not too heavy for everyday carry and has a trim profile to wear inside your pants. My purchase processed quickly to my local gun retailer, and the following day I payed a transfer fee and took possession of the firearm. It comes in a sturdy black hard plastic carrying case, and includes two magazines. One holds nine rounds and extends the pistol grip to allow space for your pinky finger; the other magazine holds seven rounds and fits flush. A gun lock is also included in the box. Great purchase, and really appreciate the Bud's Team and Mike's Guns & Archery in Frankfort for making it happen.
