Its 3.8-inch steel barrel and forged steel slide use a durable Melonite finish, while the black polymer frame provides a lightweight foundation for everyday carry and range use. Interchangeable backstraps help tailor the grip to the shooter, and aggressive frame texturing and slide serrations support a secure hold and confident operation. Steel 3-dot night sights provide a clear aiming reference in reduced light, and the pistol includes three stainless steel 19-round magazines.

Took the XDM to the...
Took the XDM to the range and the gun balances perfectly and you can get a firm grip on the handle. My wife and I shot the ten ring out of both of our targets, the Trijicon sights are dead on. My wife told me this is her go to gun just in case and to never get rid of it, I agree. A big thanks to Buds customer service for processing and shipping the gun so fast and getting it to my FFL in two days.

Completely agree with the above review. I have guns that cost twice as much, and I like this just as much. Quality throughout the experience, including the best case I have seen. Holster, extra mag holder, cleaner, three mags--everything is included. Blows the Glock away in every way. Great grip, sweet trigger, and a pleasure to shoot. Glad I got it; now want another.

First range visit,...
First range visit, after a short wipe down, I put 400 rounds of cheap Winchester target loads through the pistol. Not a single failure! I don't consider myself an expert, but do consider myself as knowledgeable as most of the self proclaimed "experts" out there. I'm an average marksman, maybe slightly above average at best. I own a dozen or so handguns and about as many long guns, ranging from middle of the road to top of the line. This is more comfortable than a 1911 operator, and shoots better than any Glock I have fired. Consistent groups out to 25 yards. Double taps all within three inches at 10 yards (120 rounds). Very easy to aim and stay on target, far less recoil than Glock or the much heavier Ruger p94. Best value, in my opinion, of any handgun out there right now. And everything you need comes in one well made, above average quality case. No brainier as far as I am concerned.
