A: No, here's an email from the manufacturer. Thank you for contacting Springfield Armory. The XDM Elite magazines will work in the original XDM model of firearms but the original XDM magazines will not work in the XDM Elite model of firearms. Sorry but hope this helps.

A: I've seen some models that do come with multiple barrels, however I've not seen any of the XDM Elite series that come with multiple barrels. This one only comes with the one.
