I purchased this gun...
I purchased this gun because it has one of the lowest bore axis dimensions and that may translate into more horizontal recoil than muzzle flip. When I received it I could not believe how well it fit my hand - almost custom made ergonomic feel. The stippling is perfect with more aggressive stippling on the side panels and less so on the back strap and front of the grip. I have a wide palm and shorter fingers so grip is an issue for me. I couldn't wait to shoot it because of the fit and it did not disappoint at the range today! I have an HK VP9SK, S&W M&P 2.0 and S&W M&P Shield Plus in 9mm, and a Beretta PX4 Storm in 40 S&W. I have also shot an Sig and Walther, and this Steyr is by far the best to shoot. It's smooth as butter. I'm looking at the M9 and C9 right now, trying to decide which would be the best for CCW, as the L9 isn't ideal for that for me. I was not sure of the trapezoidal sight when dry firing, but shooting at the range I immediately adjusted to it and now I prefer it over the other standard iron sights by far. I'm sold on Steyr. Best purchase I've ever made. And of course Bud's was awesome - fast shipping direct to my FFL without any issues at all. Best price I could fine and superb service as always.

Unique gun!! The angle...
Unique gun!! The angle of the grip is odd and, the sights are different. Once you get used to that, it's a very accurate firearm. The trigger is not the best but it's okay. It's a good gun and I plan on keeping it.
