This is one of a...
This is one of a number of 9mm compacts I've bought and tried over the past few years while seeking the ideal 9mm compact for concealed carry [private citizen]. The rotary barrel caught my attention and the write-ups suggested the quality exceeded the listed price. Well, I'm not a top of the line shooter but I think the potential of the rotating barrel for accuracy might be over stated. The sights are decent and the triggers reasonable in SA mode. The clips included are acceptable but not as well finished as I'd hoped for but they are double stacked. On the range with a few warmup clips of assorted 9 mm, it functioned fine with no failures to fire. Overall, I'd suggest paying a little more and opting for something like a CZ 2075 RAMI [also from Bud's]. That little CZ is my pick of the littler so far for double stack, compact 9mm's.

Ok I have had some...
Ok I have had some past experience with the stoeger cougar in .40 S&W and that gun ( not mine belongs to my dad) it was wonderfully finished and even had the blue case that looked like a beretta case the mags were mec gars with the slick finish and it had a metal guide rod when I got this gun it looked fine moved nicely and reeked of quality ( and coated in oil which I've gotten to expect) it feels nice and needs to be broken in as everything is stiff and needs shot the ambi safety/decocker is nice for a left handed shooter I'm going to give it a cleaning and a through greasing and oiling before I shoot it this weekend. My only gripes with the gun ( which is why it's only got 4 stars instead of 5) the magazine when I saw it was a WTF moment, they aren't finished I mean at all they are just plain steel mec gar magazines typically have a black polymer coating of some type to but nothing on these ( they say made in Italy but I'm not sure if these are mec gars) they do drop clear but they are definately lacking the slick pop on pop out of a mec gar ( they do the job for what it's worth) loading was a bear and they were hard to feed the bullet in ( I think they need to be run in) the finish on the frame is not so good either but it is evenly applied although mine was missing a little spot ( I might consider duracoating the frame in the future) truth is for its intended purpose I feel it should get it done it is light and ought to carry nicely it's a good option if your not a polymer gun fan

Nice gun for the price. Fired 250 rounds flawless! Trigger pull is amazing. Would recommend for a vehicle carry or home defense gun in a heartbeat.
