The Taurus 24/7 Pro is a full-size 9mm semi-automatic pistol designed for duty, training, and defensive use. Its single-action/double-action trigger system combines a consistent manual of arms with a manual thumb safety, while the firing pin block and trigger block provide additional passive safety features. The hand-mated frame, slide, and barrel are built for dependable fit and function. A 4-inch barrel, fixed Heinie Straight-8 sights, and a 17-round magazine provide a practical balance of handling, sighting speed, and ammunition capacity. The large polymer frame uses Taurus Ribber Grip overlay panels for a secure, comfortable hold.

After owning the gun...
After owning the gun for almost a year and little over 500 rounds, I have to rewrite my review. I still think the gun looks and feel nice; however, there are few things. Not sure why the gun shoots low to the left out of the box. you have to toy with the rear site, which can be very tricky to adjust. 7-15 feet, the gun has good accuracy. 25-50, the gun's accuracy will leave much to be desired. It might be the operator's fault and I shouldn't compare it to Glock or XDM, but both these brand have much better accuracy at 25 feet. Reliability wise, not too bad. I had one TFT but with wolf ammo, big mistake. The gun seems to be taking everything but has little trouble with wolf ammo. As a matter of fact, I got the best accuracy out of Tula ammo, another cheap Russian made ammo. The trigger remain the biggest issue for these guns. It was made the way it is by design. The gun, just like any other with external hammer, will go to single action. The trigger however travels too long. When it gets to the final pulling position, it is crispy. If something goes wrong, no gun smith will touch because of the warranty and the difficulty of getting parts from Taurus as I heard. that is fine because it comes with life time warranty but you still have to ship it. Over all, I think it is good gun for the money and there are many reviews out there. Some love and other hate it but I am happy with it so far.

I received the gun not...
I received the gun not too long ago. This gun looks good and feels right. It is surprisingly light weight and easy to take down. The trigger pull is very light. I fired about 150 rounds of Brown Bear ammo, the cheapest in the market, and the gun has no problem with it. The rear sight needs adjustment because it will fire low. This is one of the best guns I have fired. I take it any day over the SIG P228. For this price, you can't go wrong. This gun is worth the money.
