Taurus 809 External Hammer 9mm Blue/Black Pistol

A: Based out of Brazil, but this could very well have been manufactured in Miami, Fl. Taurus makes a lot of firearms at that location. Taurus has actually discontinued this firearm. They are supposed to be replacing it with a new series of pistols. Heard some good things about these though. Hope this helps!

A: This pistol was manufactured and imported from Taurus Manufacturing based in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Is has been discontinued.

A: Actually, it does come with a hard shell case. Two magazines and the backstraps. Also included are a cable lock and manuals. This info is based on a Buds review from just two weeks ago.

A: EMMANUEL Z I purchased a Taurus 809 it came w/two 18rd mags, even thou the add said two 17 rd.mags.Itcame w/a loader and 3 back straps for grip. A very nice hard case that held everything. The fit and finish are very good.It has nice white dot sights adjustable for windage.W/ also a rail for lite or laser.It Has a nice even and flat blue. Manuel saftey. The pistol is made very well,and shoots equally well. would highly recommend this gun. 2 weeks ago

A: They are being discontinued. Buy what you want before its to late.

A: I'd say the size is the reason its lost popularity. Its a micro pistol era and there are lots of smaller sized 9mm out there. And for the guys that like big body guns like a Desert Eagle or S&W 500, this guns to small. Its in the middle sized class with tremendous competition and only a small slice of the pie. The lack of sales are likely why the plug has been pulled.
