The Tisas 1911 Aviator is a lightweight, carry-sized 9mm pistol built around an aluminum frame and forged steel slide. Its classic 1911 design combines a single-action trigger with a manual thumb safety and grip safety, while fixed GI-style sights feature a brass bead front insert for improved target acquisition. The satin aluminum frame and black slide create the documented Blue/Black two-tone finish, complemented by an engraved Army Aviation badge on the slide. This Issued Series pistol includes two magazines, a lockable hard case, cleaning kit, bushing wrench, trigger lock, and instruction manual.

Love it!!!! I have a...
Love it!!!! I have a Springfield Ronin (which lost its coating on the frame during the first cleaning. Not this piece! It goes bang for a reasonable price and I recommend the brand to friends and relatives. Only downside is that some aftermarket mags don't fit without stoning and polishing the magwell. Not a dealbreaker in the least. I now have 4 different Tisas and would buy them all if I could afford it (and had Safe space for them).

Another great offering from Tisas. The aluminum frame with the rubber grips feels right in the hand. I like the Aviator roll Mark which classy, and tastefully executed. This is my first 1911 in 9MM. These magazines are harder to load than 45 ACP. A mag loader is a must.
