The Tisas 1911 Duty B9R is a Government-size 9mm pistol built around a steel frame and a five-inch hammer-forged barrel. Its 1911 design includes 70 Series internals, an enhanced trigger, Novak-style dot sights, a flared ejection port, and a beveled magazine well. An extended beavertail grip safety and ambidextrous thumb safety provide familiar 1911 controls, while the integrated accessory rail supports compatible lights and lasers. The pistol includes two 9-round magazines, a cleaning kit, and a hard case.

The Tisas Duty B9R is...
The Tisas Duty B9R is an exceptional 1911 for the money, fit and finish are amazing, the blending of the slide to ejector/frame, and the grip safety to the frame are outstanding. The lock up, slide fitment, and every other fitment test you can think of all pass with flying colors. The pistol is reliable and being a 9mm makes this an absolute breeze to shoot. Bill drills on .45 are like holding lightning, alternatively a 9mil 1911 is more akin to dry firing. After a few hundred rounds my only complaint is the supplied magazines, I believe they are from a different Turkish manufacturer, they work but do not instill the confidence of aftermarket offerings such as mec-gar. Bottom line buy a Tisas, put the savings into mags and ammo, and buy it all from Buds.

Fit and finish...
Fit and finish absolutely flawless. Equal to Kimber and possibly STI in quality. Accurate too Trigger broke at 4.5 pounds and nice and crisp. Ceracote finish is superb
