The Tisas 1911 Duty Raider is a full-size .45 ACP pistol designed around the proven 1911 platform. Its forged steel frame and slide receive a durable FDE/Tan Cerakote finish, while the extended threaded barrel supports suppressor installation with compatible equipment. An RMSc and Holosun K optics cut allows direct mounting of a compatible red dot sight. The pistol features a crisp single-action trigger, ambidextrous thumb safety, grip safety, and fiber optic sights for a clear aiming reference. It ships with two magazines, a hard case, cleaning kit, and owner's manual.

You get many features...
You get many features of a modern pistol with the old reliability of that signature 1911. 300rounds into this pistols and not a single hang up. The safety is a little more easy to the touch then I would like however there are so many after market 1911 safety's if it bothers you that much I'm sure a few small inexpensive changes would fix this. A threaded optic ready FDE (Tan) gun with G10 grips at this price point you can't beat it.

The Cerakote finish is...
The Cerakote finish is very good, the slide fitment is far better than that I've experienced in other budget 1911 pistols. The pistol performed extremely well in my first trip to the range. I shot 250 rounds (FMJ & JHP) & had only one failure - an FMJ round failed to feed. There are only two issues I had (have) with the pistol: the sights & slide cuts are "Novak style" & the angles don't match NOVAK sights. The only means of resolving this is to file down the angles on sights or install a red dot. I installed a red dot realizing I'd need a new case because Tisas, for some reason, sells an optics ready 1911 with a case too small to hold that pistol with a red dot mounted. I recommend this pistol over other budget 1911's.
