It combines a polymer frame with a blued alloy-forged steel slide and alloy-forged barrel for a practical balance of durability and manageable weight. The 4.5-inch barrel and 7.8-inch overall length provide a stable shooting platform, while the dovetail front and rear sights offer a conventional, serviceable sight picture. A manual thumb safety, drop safety, firing pin block, and striker status indicator provide layered safety features. The fully ambidextrous controls accommodate right- and left-handed users, and the Picatinny rail supports compatible accessories. Interchangeable small, medium, and large backstrap inserts help tailor the grip to the shooter.
