Was trying to decide...
Was trying to decide between the sig mosquito and the p22. When I found the p22 advertised the threaded barrel adapter, hi-viz sights, AND extra magazine, I was sold. Ordered wednesday morning, had it in my hand friday afternoon, Buds is spectacular. Love the gun. Sights are amazing, slide to frame fit feels great. I'm 6'3" with large hands and the pistol fits real nice in my hands. Took it to the range after a good cleaning. shot a nice, tight group at 15 yds. Pretty proud of myself actually. The only complaints I have are similar to the other reviews, Walther only sent ONE mag but advertised two. I haven't checked to see if the adapter is the correct threading yet. And I had at least one FTE on all 15 mags i ran through it. I only had 2 FTF out of the 150 rounds. After about the 6th mag of having FTE issues I talked to the guys at the range. One of them owned a p22 and told me the FTE were due to the cheap ammo I was using. Well if ammo ever becomes less scarce I'll try different types, but until then all I have is the remington thunderbolts to use. All in all, great gun. Can't wait to get the silencer and laser to complete this baby.

I bought my P22...
I bought my P22 Tactical since BUDS advertised it coming with a second magazine, high viz sights, and a 1/2x28 threaded barrel. Unfortunately Walther did not ship my second magazine with my gun and it came with a weird Metric threaded barrel adaptor. I contacted Buds before signing for my gun at the FFL when I noticed the Mag was missing and was assured they would make it right by contacting Walther and having a new mag sent out. After getting the gun home I noticed that none of my 1/2x28 accessories fit my threaded barrel. I contacted buds again and was told they would work on getting a replacement for me. After a couple of days BUDS contacted me to let me know that Walther was aware that they had accidently installed and shipped the wrong threaded barrel adaptors out and that they knew that they had forgotten to ship out a spare magazine on this lot of pistols. They were unable to send out replacements however since they had no spare magazines or 1/2x28 barrel adaptors and would not have any in for 3 or 4 months. Long story short do not buy this kit thinking it is a good deal, you will not be able to mount any accessories you may already have on it for several months unless you but an aftermarket threaded barrel adaptor and will not receive your second magazine for several months either. Thats if Walther sticks to its word and replaces them as promised. Save your money and buy the base model and buy your thread adaptor and extra mag separately, at least then you have a chance at getting what you paid for.
