A: No Decockers are for hammer fired pistols, the Walther pdp is a striker fired gun. The PDP will have a little bit of take up in the trigger on your 1st shot, then it will have a short reset to a shorter wall for follow up shots, but will have a consistent trigger pull weight all the way through. The decocker on a hammer fired gun is so you can safely carry in double action, (which gives you a heavier trigger pull for the 1st shot) while the follow up shot in single action will be much shorter and lighter. This Pistol also has no manual safety. So a quality all kydex holster, that completely covers the trigger is recommended for carry. I like Darkstar gears Orion holster.

A: This Pistol uses mounting plates, the Punting plates are not included in the box, after you buy the pistol you use the form on Walthers website to order you free mounting plate ( only one is free, if you need additional plates you'll need to purchase them) walther did this to keep costs down, because most people only use one plate anyways. As far as the irons they are not suppresor height sights but the PDP has Glocl dovetails so there are a ton of aftermarket sights available
