Absolutely beautiful...
Absolutely beautiful bucket list revolver at a good price! I had seen reports of others who had purchased a factory blemished blued python ranging from being unable to locate the blem to obviously patchy/light bluing. With Bud's new buy it and try it program, I felt confident enough to pull the trigger on this purchase without seeing it in person first or pictures. If the blemish turned out to be more than I'd like, I could simply return it for a full refund. The revolver I received has a very small difficult to notice splotch (almost like a hard water spot that was mostly removed) in the bluing at the top corner of the frame below the rear sight. It's only slightly visible when the gun is bone dry in bright light. I also noticed that the side plate seems to have some light machining marks on it however the bluing over it is still quite glossy. This too so far has been only visible when examining the firearm without any protectant on the finish in bright light as it was is the photo provided. I can't feel the markings with my finger it seems to be just as smooth as the rest of the finish. (Which is picture perfect!) The action is just as superb as any other python. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and feel the minor blemishes were worth the few hundred dollars in cost savings. I'd highly reccomend the buy it and try it program if you'd like peace of mind when considering a factory blem.
