Bud's as-usual, is...
Bud's as-usual, is awesome but I just want to say that Ruger's QC seems to be slipping, this is the second Ruger product that had metal burrs sticking up enough to cut a person. My Vaquero had the same burr. How are these allowed out of the door with such defects? Neither of them have been difficult to remove, no tools or abrasives required, just a fingernail to break the burr off is all it takes and its not a cosmetic flaw…it took me all of 3 seconds of handling my new gun to find this…why isn't Ruger able to spot this before packaging? Anyways, I Love my new Blackhawk Convertible, I love Buds and will be back, as for Ruger, I have less confidence in their products now than I used to have, Im not going to give a lecture on craftsmanship but I will probably be looking at other brands in the future because of this poor QC. Its a little disappointing to open up a factory new gun and find a flaw right off the bat…what else could be wrong with it?

I have had a pair of...
I have had a pair of these for 3 years now and they have performed flawlessly with heavy use. I shoot Cowboy Action Shooting using .38 Cowboy. I've run 9mm thru for some plinking and target practice, but I've figured shooting 9's isn't the way to practice for CAS. I did replace the springs and highly recommend that. And, I gave them new wooden grips for style and comfort. REALLY, they are well made, accurate and stay dialed-in (as well as being, beautiful). These have performed above expectations.

I am thrilled with...
I am thrilled with this revolver! I purchased it to shoot just 9mm since I already have several Blackhawks in .357. I am handloading a light load using WSF powder and the Missouri Bullet Co. 124 grain lead roundnose sized .356. Accuracy is superb. I had to raise the rear sight quite a bit to shoot to point of aim at 25 yards. \r \r I highly recommend this revolver.
