Was excited to get...
Was excited to get this revolver as I grew up shooting Smitty's. however out of the box I had to send it back to manufacturer as the cylinder was locking up and wound up being the extractor rod and yoke were misaligned. (repaired) SAW fixed the problem and turned it around in two weeks. Having sent guns back to Manufacturers before I had no doubt it would be taken care of and corrected. Just know at times buying a gun is like a box of chocolates, you don't know what you get until you open it. Either way, SAW warranty is great, they took it and shipped it back and it is smooth as glass now.

Haven't fired it yet. Crisp trigger, cylinder locks up tight. I expect it to be an accurate revolver. My one complaint is that it came with a lot of surface scatches on the frame. I questioned whether this gun was new or not. Bud's customer service informed me that it came right from the factory. So this is a lack of quality control at Smith and Wesson. When you spend about a $1000 on a gun, you'd expect it to look new. Because of this, I almost gave it 4 stars.
