Of the 9 revolvers I...
Of the 9 revolvers I own and have probably owned 9 more over the years but sold, this is by far the most accurate of any I have owned or shot. The rubber grips and the 49.5 ounces of weight make this gun bearable, tack driving accurate and FUN to shoot. As I said in the review of the 629 PD (44 Mag) I bought from Bud's this pistol takes a few rounds to get used to but the recoil is no where near my 500 S&W Magnum, but extremely more accurate. Most accurate round I've found is a personal handload using the 180 grain Hornaldy XTP (won't say load specifications due to liablility reasons, but it's a HOT load. Pistol is equally accurate firing single or double action--take awhile to get accurate firing double action but after about 50 rounds you can do it. The one thing that really sets this pistol off if the red fiber option front sight, you can acquire the target in the blink of an eye. Well worth the money and I'm sure it would drop a deer or wild pig with one well placed shot. If your looking for a big bore pistol that doesn't have the recoil of a 460 or 500 Mag, buy this one--worth the money and you won't be disappointed.
