A: John, It is possible to lower trigger pull by replacing the rebound and/or main springs. However, almost everyone advises against replacing springs on a self-defense gun for liability reasons. Especially with an SA/DA revolver like this, I would not consider changing out the springs because you probably can get the DA & SA trigger pulls down close to 10 & 4 pounds just by cleaning up the insides. A competent gun smith is recommended reliability especially if it will be carried for self defense. Cheers!

A: The recoil is average and comparable to 9mm pistol because this is a snub nose revolver. The trigger is good in a single action and heavy in double, the weight is light. I think it is totally usable and good for women to carry. HOWEVER, I would recommend looking at semi-auto pistols such as Smith & Wesson M&P Shield EZ which has similar recoil but greater capacity and better erganomic. I hope this helps!

A: David, mine does not have the Crimson Trace Laser but, recoil is very manageable as long as you stick with 125gr standard .38 Special ammunition and not the +P variety which are loaded to higher pressure and recoil more. A: David, yes sir, this has two adjustment screws, one for windage and one for elevation. Crimson trace supplies a Allen wrench to make any adjustments necessary. Hope this helps.
