A: no it can not the 380 is a rimless case while the 38 sp and 357 are rimmed cases. without the rim there is nothing to keep the round from sliding too deeply into the chamber

A: Pretty sure you can shoot .380 in the supplied 9mm cylinder but NOT in the .38/,357 cylinder. But I can't imagine why you would want to since 9mm can be found at cheaper prices than .380 and has more power ... more bang for the buck! I would stick to what the manual tells you and again I'm pretty sure it will say 9mm ...not 380 NOTE ; IT SAYS THIS GUN COMES WITH A 9MM CYLINDER.
