Ultimately, my advice...
Ultimately, my advice would be to spend the extra $100 and Buy a Smith & Wesson J-Frame!!! Great for ankle carry in a DeSantis ankle rig with calf support. A little too bulky for pocket carry, especially with the exposed hammer. I measured almost 0.007" clearance between the cylinder and the barrel with a feeler guage, the Smith and Wesson J frames I had access to measure were around 0.003" - 0.004". The cylinder had quite a bit of slop in it and can be rotated quite a bit even with the trigger pull all the way to the firing position, thus allowing for misalignment between the cylinder and the barrel, sloppy machining. Fit and finish is acceptable. The anodizing on the frame has been durable. The bluing on the cylinder is poor at best, the cylinder lock has left nice scratches in the finish of the cylinder. VERY crisp single action trigger. Probably the most notable feature of the gun and one of the only praises I have for this firearm. Shoots ANYTHING you put in it. The ejector rod is a little short so some shells may be more difficult to eject rapidly if you're practicing reloading with a speedloader at the range. (requires you to point the muzzle up which is deeply frowned upon at most ranges). If all you have is $300 to spend on a wheel gun, buy a used J-frame.
