A: No it is not The Italian clones are for use with regular pressure/velocity .45 Colt ammo and are better suited for cowboy action shooting, target shooting, general plinking, etc. Loading manuals have a separate section for hot .45 Colt loads and always carry the warning about using them only in the proper firearms If you want to shoot +P 45lc the ruger blackhawks are the way to go
