Description
Product Overview
The Taylor's & Company 1875 Army Outlaw is a faithful Uberti reproduction of the Remington 1875 single-action revolver. Its forged blued steel frame, blued barrel and hardware, and half-fluted cylinder deliver the classic solid-frame styling associated with the original Army revolvers. The 5.5-inch round barrel is chambered in 9mm and uses a fixed blade front sight with a rear sight notch machined into the frame. A spring-retained cylinder pin, webbed ejector rod tube, traditional hammer-mounted firing pin, and two-piece walnut grip complete the period-inspired configuration.
Key Features
- Six-round 9mm single-action revolver for classic handling and practical ammunition availability
- Forged blued steel frame and matching blued barrel provide a durable traditional finish
- 5.5-inch round barrel with a 1:16-inch right-hand twist and six grooves
- Fixed blade front sight paired with a rear sight notch in the frame

First The transaction...
First The transaction with Bud's was fine as usual. I took it out for my first range trip and had the same problems as the other reviewer, after 30 rounds the hammer would not stay in fullcock. I contacted Taylor's and they were quick and easy to deal with. From the time I dropped it into the mail to the time I got it back was exactly two weeks. A for Taylor's and I will definitely buy more of their products in the future. However the maker, Uberti is disappointing, they never should have let it go out with timing issues like that. The gun it's self is very nice, a beautiful deep blue, shoot's high but very accurate, I think it's sighted for 147's, the wood is nice. what little I did get to shoot it, it did make nice small groups. Uberti just needs to step up their QC.

I loved the revolver...
I loved the revolver for the first 30 rounds then it started to fail me. The hammer would fail to stay in the fully cocked position and it would drop into the half cock position, now I have to find out how good Taylor's customer service is........
