The Adams Arms P2 is a 5.56 NATO semiautomatic rifle built around a short-stroke free-floating piston system. Its forged 7075-T6 upper and lower receivers provide a durable foundation, while the flat-top upper receiver offers a continuous 1913 Picatinny rail for mounting optics. A free-float M-LOK handguard supports accessory placement without contacting the 14.5-inch Melonite-finished barrel. The rifle includes an adjustable tactical stock with QD sling mounts, an ambidextrous safety and charging handle, an extended A2 flash hider, and folding front and rear sights. Adjustable gas settings and the piston system help direct carbon and propellant gases forward and away from the operator.
