Product Overview
The Alexander Arms R-17TACTSP Tactical rifle combines an AR-15 styled platform with the flat-shooting .17 HMR cartridge. Its blowback action uses an 18-inch fluted stainless steel barrel with a 1:10 twist, 1/2x28 right-hand muzzle threads, and an A1 flash hider. A Geissele SSA two-stage trigger supports precise, controlled fire, while the Manticore Arms Transformer Rail provides flexible accessory mounting and grip customization. The B5 Systems SOPMOD BRAVO collapsible stock helps tailor the rifle to the shooter. The flat-top aluminum upper receiver is ready for the addition of a compatible optic.

Bud's was fast to shop this gun. This little gem is a tack driver. It's well balanced and is comprised of quality components. I was hesitant to drop this kind of coin on a .17 hmr but I have regrets now that I own it. I've had about 1/2 dozen friends shoot it, and they all fell in love with it. I called Alexander Arms about ammo selection, and they said it was more or less designed around Hornady 17gr vmax. They were right, this gun shoots it well.
