The ATI Outdoors Alpha MAXX is a lightweight AR-style rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and compatible with .223 Remington ammunition. Its direct-impingement semi-automatic action, 16-inch steel barrel, and 1:8 twist provide a practical configuration for range use and general-purpose rifle applications. A 13-inch M-LOK handguard supports modular accessory placement, while the six-position ATI MM4 stock allows the length of pull to be adjusted for different users and shooting positions. Flip-up front and rear sights provide an immediate aiming solution, and the Picatinny top rail is ready for a compatible optic. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 for muzzle devices and suppressor applications where legally permitted.

This is my 4th Alpha...
This is my 4th Alpha Maxx in a couple of variations. Yes its primarily polymer but metal reinforced where its needs to be. They are reliable and accurate. No hiccups thus far. As some have said, if Glock can make a primarily polymer pistol, Then why can't ATI do the same in terms of an AR. in one since it could be thought of as a "throw-away" firearm but I consider a high value firearm for those without much cash or if you what a truck or boat gun.
