I picked up my...
I picked up my Thompson 1927A-1 from my LGS who helped me with the transfer. He had an indoor range and I tried it out there. I am glad that I did! Somewhere in the manufacturers quality control missed a flaw in the firearm assembly. It was impossible to retract the charging handle to get a round in the chamber. I took the firearm back into the LGS. We field stripped it and found the bolt gouging the receiver. I contacted the manufacturer and they authorized a return for the firearm. I haven't received it back yet to find out what the repairs entailed.
