The Barrett REC7 Flyweight combines familiar AR-style ergonomics with a short-stroke gas piston system designed for cleaner, cooler, and more reliable operation. Its one-piece 17-4 stainless steel piston works with an anti-tilt bolt carrier, while the forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers provide a durable foundation. The 16-inch barrel and free-float M-LOK handguard offer a practical balance of handling and accessory flexibility. A full-length M1913 Picatinny top rail supports optics, and the two-position gas block allows adjustment for suppressed or unsuppressed use. Finished in FDE/Tan with a six-position synthetic stock, the REC7 Flyweight is configured for versatile range, duty, and field applications.
