The Barrett REC7 Gen II Flyweight is a lightweight semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO. Its gas-piston operating system, nickel Teflon-coated anti-tilt bolt carrier, and one-piece 17-4 stainless steel piston provide durable cycling performance. The 16-inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel features 1/2x28 muzzle threads and is paired with a chrome-lined railed gas block with a two-position gas plug. Type III hardcoat anodized aluminum receivers receive an Olive Drab Green Cerakote finish, while the flat-top Picatinny rail supports a wide range of optics. A Barrett Enhanced KeyMod handguard, Magpul six-position stock, Magpul pistol grip, ALG Defense Combat Trigger, and ambidextrous manual safety complete the practical configuration.
