The Barrett REC7 combines familiar AR-pattern ergonomics with a short-stroke gas piston operating system designed for clean, reliable performance. Its adjustable gas system provides suppressed and unsuppressed settings, while the forward-venting piston system keeps combustion gases out of the receiver for cooler, lower-maintenance operation. The 16-inch barrel is paired with a free-float M-LOK handguard for accessory flexibility and a Picatinny top rail for mounting an optic. Forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers, a six-position adjustable stock, and an anti-tilt bolt carrier complete this FDE/Tan carbine configuration.
