The Benelli R1 is a fast-handling semi-automatic hunting rifle chambered in .308 Win. Its ARGO auto-regulating gas-operated system, adapted from the Benelli M4, uses a short operating rod and three-lug rotary bolt to promote reliable cycling and help reduce felt recoil. The rifle features a free-floating, cryogenically treated 22-inch blued barrel, steel upper receiver, lightweight anodized aluminum lower receiver, and an AA-grade satin walnut stock. The receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting a compatible optic.
