The Bergara B-14R Trainer is a full-size left-hand precision rimfire rifle designed to replicate the dimensions and handling of a Remington 700 short-action rifle. Chambered in .22 LR, it provides an affordable platform for precision practice, NRL22 competition, and long-range rimfire training. Its free-floated 18-inch 4140 steel barrel uses a 1:16 twist and is threaded 1/2x28 for compatible muzzle devices or suppressors. The HMR synthetic stock and compatible action dimensions allow the rifle to accept a wide range of Remington 700-pattern stocks, bases, and triggers.

This is for all the...
This is for all the southpaw's and others that might find this interesting to start with this is my first Bergara rifle. I wanted to get into PRS in a left hand without buying the crazy expensive Vodoo. To say the rifle isn't accurate enough for PRS would be poor judgment. The key is to find the right ammo for it, I like others have found Lapua centerX to work best for reference if shooting in my yard the CCI subsonic at 109 yards groups 2 inch groups switching to the Lapua and at 109 yards I get 3/4 inch groups all day long. The trigger is good not perfect, the adjustable cheek weld could come up a little higher however adding a cheek pad got it to where it needed to be speaking of the cheek weld it's hard resin so not very comfortable for long holds. My 2 biggest gripes with this rifle, first it doesn't come with a scope rail you have to buy one so expect to add about $70 additional dollars to the price in addition it only comes with 1 magazine speaking of magazines this is my biggest gripe finding these is like finding a unicorn they're pretty much proprietary they are AICS pattern magazines however in 22lr Bergara is the only one that makes them there is an aftermarket version however they're always sold out and just as expensive. Overall if you can get past the magazine issue this is one awesome rifle to own I honestly have no regrets as look forward to using it for many years to come! Oh a couple of other things look online for a company that makes a bore guide BoreTech unfortunately doesn't and as for a suppressor DeadAir Mask and the CCI subsonic and it's quieter than a library.
