The Bergara BMR-X Steel is a precision-focused rimfire bolt-action rifle built for competition shooting, training, and accurate plinking. Its heavy #6 profile chrome moly steel barrel adds stability for consistent shot placement, while the 18-inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and protected by a factory thread protector. The BXR-inspired synthetic stock features an adjustable length of pull, vertical grip, and flat forend for a comfortable, repeatable shooting position. A 30 MOA Picatinny rail provides a solid foundation for mounting an optic, and the externally adjustable Bergara Performance Trigger allows the shooter to tune the trigger feel to personal preference.

So far this rifle is...
So far this rifle is accurate and fun too shoot. The action is smooth and gets better each shoot. The stock on this rifle is well made and feels and looks nice. The magazines are easy to load and feed very well. I bore scoped the barrel and it was very nice. I've tried only a few match ammunition. Ammunition tried: CCI Pistol Match Wolf target match Federal Auto Match Monarch 40 grain Had decent results with this ammunition, but each time I shoot it was really cold out so my shivering wasn't helping my shooting. Wanting to test here next some SK Rifle Match. Heard good results from that ammunition. In closing, this rifle was worth it to get for ARA factory class shoot. Can't wait for the weather to warm up and do some more ammunition testing.
